Oral Syrup Flavored Syrup Vehicle

A clear to slightly tinted, cherry flavored liquid formulated to assist compounding pharmacists in the preparation of oral extemporaneous dosage forms. Oral Syrup is prepared with a slightly acidic pH and with a balance of preservatives and buffering agents to help minimize common degradation. This syrup vehicle may be used alone as a flavoring agent in aqueous solutions, or in combination with MEDISCA’s Oral Suspend to help increase the physical stability of the suspension.
