Methylcellulose Gel (1%) is MEDISCA’s newest addition to the Oral Vehicles product line. This unflavored, versatile cellulose-based gel is for general use and can be used either in combination or as a stand-alone base. With its strong compatibility profile, MEDISCA’s Methylcellulose Gel (1%) is a suitable suspending agent for both oral liquids and topical preparations. Traditionally made at the pharmacy level, this ready-to-use compounding vehicle is a time-saving option for pharmacists. Keeping patient safety at the forefront, this base has passed the USP <51> Microbial Challenge Test, with each lot undergoing USP <61> and USP <62> Microbiological Examination. Methylcellulose Gel (1%) is free from dyes, fragrances, alcohol, propylene glycol, BSE/TSE and GMO materials.
