Heavy duty glass provides better mechanical stability due to increased glass content. Reinforced rim increases shock resistance and reduces risk of breakage. Spout for clean pouring. Uniform and slow heating is recommended. The standard beakers should be used when working at very high temperatues or if rapid temperature changes are expected.
